Challenge

Historic England's social media channels are a treasure trove of short documentaries that explore and celebrate the hidden histories of historic buildings, towns, and places. They challenged us to continue creating these films, but with our own creative flair and approach.

They wanted authentic films that captured the real people who benefit from Historic England's regeneration work.

Our unique approach

In our work with Historic England, we strive to create observational documentaries that feel authentic. We immerse ourselves into the local community, uncovering the stories of the people who inhabit and benefit from Historic England's regeneration work.

Each film has a unique approach and is built from the story we’re telling. From a presenter lead approach which introduces people to ghost signs to a more observational documentary exploring a local community high street.

Results

Historic England has been thrilled with our slate of films for them, gaining thousands of views online via their social media channels and bringing communities together. Even bringing a member of their marketing team to tears (happy tears!).

We are proud to be a regular supplier to HIstoric England and are still working with them to tell human stories of their impact throughout the UK.

Our bespoke approach along with a human touch is what makes each film unique.
